This self-paced continuing education offering is intended to provide registered nurses with an overview of healthcare case management. It is sponsored by a grant from the Michigan State
Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and was developed by the
MSU College of Nursing. It emphasizes collaboration between health professionals in nursing and case management.
Upon completion of the CE program, the learner will be able to:
1. Describe the primary functions of the case manager within the larger health team.
2. Recognize the case management process, standards of practice and ethical principles.
3. Identify ways to work effectively with case managers for the benefit of mutual patients and clients

Registered nurses may obtain 2.0 continuing education contact
